I was looking forward to another Ride the Drive event in Madison, this coming Sunday. Instead, I'll be DRIVING out of town for (what I consider) a better use of my time and energy. Hypocritical, I know. I've been loving the biking in town though. I'm more fit than ever and even energetic despite long days.
Ride the Drive attracts Madison bikers (and probably plenty of out-of-towners, too). Several roads surrounding the state capitol, including Highway 151 (E Washington Ave/John Nolen Dr), are closed from 8 A.M. 'til 3 P.M. and left open exclusively for bikers. It's a sight to see, and I'll be sure to bring my camera for the next event.
